My love for wigs began during one of the most unexpected chapters of my life. While going through cancer treatment, I lost my hair—and that experience completely changed the way I looked at wigs.
What started as something I needed became something I genuinely loved.
I realized a wig could be more than a replacement for the hair I lost. It gave me the freedom to change my look, try something new, and decide how I wanted to show up that day. I could look different, feel different, and still feel like me.
And honestly? I thought wigs were awesome.
Over time, that love turned into an obsession with finding great hair: what looks good, what feels good, what holds up, what’s worth the money—and what absolutely isn’t.
That journey eventually became Girl Friday Hair.
